Writing Sample from INYO 504

INYO 504 is a course I was enrolled into, at the INTO George Mason University in Spring 2018. This course helped me improve my academic writing skills along with critical, analytical and reflective writing. Not only did it help me boost my confidence in writing, but it also helped me correct my grammar and the way I comprehend sentences. The article attached below is a reflection of an activity held at the Fenwick Library, titled Planning and Writing Successful Research Grant Proposals on February 23, 2018. The activity was based upon the idea of what is important and is required to be able to get funds successfully. The keynote speakers gave us tips such as having, 10% preliminary research data and being able to explain why the research question is  unique, before applying for various funds. They concluded by saying that a person has to apply multiple number of times before successfully being granted funds.
